Burn O’Vat

Lovely overnight stop in the Motorhome at Burn O’Vat visitor centre in Aberdeenshire on Saturday night. Got to explore the pothole on my own. Like something out of Narnia or Indiana Jones you have to enter via a stream and stepping stones through this “portal” into prehistoric times. Amazing seeing what the power of water did to pink granite to carve out the pothole and infill it with granite shingle. Waterfall and stream runs right through the middle and your feet.
