Catkins
Catkins, reminding me of fat, yellow caterpillars wriggling along a branch.
A walk in the glorious sunshine after lunch. Lovely temperatures with a crispness in the air.
Tomorrow, I'm going to join my family: daughter, son and his wife in the mountains. They've rented a chalet up there and there's a room for me! I'll stay for two days, just one night away. It's the first time that Honey will be on her own. I hope she won't feel too strange - I know that I will. I'll leave my key with the concierge as reassurance.
