Farewell to Granton

Just a couple of days ago there was a new UK January daily maximum temperature record of 19.6ºC at Kinlochewe. I thought of that as I scraped the ice from the car before heading to visit the aunt up in Balerno. And after much chatter, I departed her place realising I’d forgotten to take a photo. No blip there, then. 
More gales forecast for the next few days, and yet here was a sunny afternoon with a gentle breeze. Only one thing for it, once I’d done a bit of greasing of parts, and that was to cast off the lines and slip out to the bright blue yonder.
