Armed Forces Day

This one almost sneaked by this year - knew there were lots of events on around Scotland, but had seen very little promoting this local tribute to all of our past and present armed forces. Seemed to be borne out by a smaller crowd watching than I'd seen in the past too. PA system didn't work and the Wee County's Lord Lieutenant got tangled up in the commemorative flag at one point. Still, the folk that were there showed their appreciation and respect as the parade went past.

One of the local press photographers spoke to me and quipped that it looked like I was taking the same photo as last year. He was right too. Going to have to get my finger out if people are seeing nothing but repeats on here.
