A close run thing

Given the wild weather recently the owner of the boat tethered to its mooring by this shackle must be very thankful it wasn’t still afloat.
This time of year the ground tackle and risers get inspected. This has been left in a prominent position to remind us all why we pay for the mooring tackle inspection as well as a space on the seabed.
