Dreamy woodland

Sally was busy with her zoom meeting most of the day, so I took the dogs on a forestry walk we’d not done this year. The dogs always enjoy re-visiting old sniffs and we saw only one other walker all afternoon. The walk is a mixture of dark hilly woodland but towards the end you climb out of the forest on to a high ridge overlooking Cardiff and Penarth. Despite the miserable weather, visibility was quite good and you could see across the Bristol channel to England. The main is from walking through the woodland and the extra is one of the sole trees silhouetted  on the ridge.
