Taking the knee

I think I've mentioned this before - a custom they have here in junior teams that when a player gets injured, both teams stop, go down on one knee and support the player who is hurt. I really like it. It shows empathy and class. 

Essentially another full work day - despite it being a Saturday. Brain is beginning to get a bit foggy. Actually slept in - and probably would have slept longer had Mrs Ottawacker not got up.

Ottawacker Jr had a game in the pm in Nepean, so drove him there. Not one of his better games. Let in a very soft goal at his near post, but they still won 6-3.

Also noted a new tactic from Ottawacker Jr and his friend Caelan. When Caelan calls, he asks to speak to either me or Mrs O. Then he asks us if Ottawacker Jr can come over to play/study/go for coffee... It is brilliant - because they seem to know that neither of us will say no to Caelan, but might well to Ottawacker Jr. I've been sussed out already.
