Wet and Windy

………………………………not necessarily both at the same time!

Picked the worst weather to take a bus trip south…I was meeting up with a school friend to go out for lunch to spend a voucher I’d been given for Christmas 22 which was about to expire. A bus to Alnwick to meet L (a very windy trip in a double decker!) and once she’d changed after work and we’d had a cuppa it was bus no 2 to Shilbottle. A lovely lunch was had and since neither of us had to drive alcohol may have been consumed! The wind got up again during lunch as can be seen from my extra of the sign swaying in the breeze! Luckily the bus stop was right outside and the return bus was on time as we nearly blew away…and by now it was raining too. Luckily things calmed down a bit north of Alnwick.

My main blip was taken through the bus window enroute home, before things calmed.
