Jess and I were out for a walk before the wind and rain this morning. Storm Ingunn let us off quite lightly, but places further north will have had a pretty rough time of it.

I went swimming again this afternoon, making the most of my Merry-free time :-) Joe and I met up afterwards and it was nice (as always) to chat with him.

After making and eating tea, I realised that I'd not taken a proper photo today, so here is one of the beautiful hyacinth on my desk, looking just at its best (and its scent is wonderful, too).

The last day of January - I've liked this month, so am sorry to see it go.
