Unexpected Shadows

A frosty start to the day, the car needed a good scrape before I went to Tesco.  I'm trying to get back into the habit of a weekly shop, even if I don't need much.
Then a walk after lunch, when the puddles on the path still had ice in them and there was frost in the shaded areas.  I spotted this twig on the path as I returned.  I suppose what caught my eye was the angular twig with the curvy shadow.
In late afternoon, a visit to the solicitor, and finally dinner at a friends.  A very busy day.
