Jude is Two

Yesterday, our golden retriever turned 2. I always bake a pup cake for Jude and his big sister, Daisy, but because Jude got groomed for his special day, he was out when I baked his cake.

As you can see, said cake is not round. Daisy somehow pushed her way through the dog gate in our kitchen, and helped herself to about 1/3rd of the cooled cake before I stopped her.

It was quite a scene, but Jude didn’t seem to care what shape it was! He enjoyed his fair share and will get another piece tonight.

Daisy was quite smug about the incident and contended that it was her birthday too!! Can’t wait to see what happens on April 30th when I bake her 3rd birthday cake!!

Smart buggers, but we love them both.
