Kennet & Avon Canal

Today my friend A and I started our walk along the Kennet & Avon Canal. We're just doing it in days out rather than a straight march.

We set off from Kennetmouth, in Reading, where the Kennet meets the Thames; and walked westwards to Theale.

It was a very interesting section as much of it was canalised river rather than pure canal and the river was still flowing high and fast.

One or two sections where we got out feet wet.
