Utterly pointless

There are a few grammars in the area.

I wanted DD to go to one. Then she said no. Then she decided that she would like it try even though they are not her first choice?!?!

So now we are left with a week before the test.

I am trying to cram but it's totally pointless as she does not want to do it.

The problem is that she is naturally able and is coming out with decent scores but we are competing with families who privately tutor from the age of about seven. One boy in her class has been taken out of school for this whole week in order to prepare. Another boy in her class has ended up being taken out of school in order to cope with the pressure of it all.

It makes me a bit angry because it ends up being all about money and nothing to do with being able.

Other than this I have had a great day.
