POSTCARD TO FREDDIE

Postcard received from Unst, and Britain's most northerly post office at Baltasound, from where I just had to send a card to the cat so I could get the special Puffin postmark. Silly, I know.

Also where I bought a pair of beautifully knitted Fair Isle fingerless gloves, which I learnt afterwards were made by the young post office girl's granny. She who also explained to us what "Chinese night" meant. What a brilliant idea!
