Carrying on the chocolate theme

I had a much needed day off today from a very stressful time at work (8 years to go before I can retire and hand back my nurses uniform!).
The answer to life’s issues is to go out for cake and coffee with a loved one, in this case, my Mum (I’m 52 and blessed to still have her).
It was a wonderful pâtissier and chocolatier in Peebles (Scottish Borders). After this, and a wander along the banks of the River Tweed, life stresses were entirely put into perspective.
