Unparalleled

This was more a day of thing than taking photos. I was reflecting on what abstract was, and decided that I've often thought of my pics as abstract when they were simply close ups, weird angles or just 'guess the object'.

One definition I've come across is art that does not attempt to represent external reality, but rather seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, colours, and textures. 

So whilst I'm happy to appreciate any image and don't want to get hung up on a definition, during the week I'm going to explore shape and light in their own right. Lots to learn from past AT pictures
