Rain didn’t stop play

The sky was wonderful when I opened the curtains this morning.
Drizzle on our early walk and then it seemed to clear so we headed eight miles up the road for a walk and to get milk.
It was a wet walk but didn’t stop Hetty zooming around the beach, fetching sticks and chasing waves. Walk through some very lush looking woods and then back calling into a community shop for milk. Lovely little shop and got a few more things.
We always put an old blanket over the chair by the window as Hetty can’t resist watching the water.
Walked along the beach in front of cottage as the tide was coming in.
Never ceases to amaze me how the weather and the colours change so quickly up here.
