Appreciating the apricity in the garden

Early spin class so set my alarm. My first with a live instructor, and very enjoyable. Much better than the virtual spin which I have always been to previously. 

Home for porridge and household chores.

This afternoon I enjoyed the winter sun as it warmed me (apricity) as I pottered in the garden; tidying and cutting back last year's dead growth; a bit of weeding; and planting a Tree Peony. Fingers crossed that it thrives as I bought the smaller, cheaper one, last week at the garden centre. The spring bulbs are beginning to pop up, such a joyful time of year. So couldn't resist the blip.

I'm RD on Saturday and delighted that we have a full roster of volunteers.  Much less stressful.  I am looking forward to greeting them all on Saturday morning.
