First of February - Good Things Will Happen!
I love a new month, it always feels like a mini reset and glad January is over and Spring is a little bit closer…
I have had a quietly productive day tackling life admin and resting/pacing as my fibro pain and fatigue remain high.
I have set myself a few challenges for the next couple of months, one of them being to undertake a 62 mile paced walk in March in aid of Diabetes UK. I think it will be a wonderful challenge for me, got registered online today.
Both my Mum (who I am estranged from) and my maternal grandmother have/had Type 2 diabetes and I have taught children with diabetes in the past so I thought it was a good choice of charity for my challenge.
I have been learning Ukrainian on Duolingo as a pain distraction technique and continuing with the piano/keyboard music lessons which I am loving. My scores have been in the upper 90% level which I am pleased with, especially given my current pain and fatigue levels.
I am determined not to fall off the Bliposphere again going forward and aim to Blip daily as I used to until a few months ago.
I made an early dinner tonight - Tomato and Herb Pasta with Sardines, Mild Chilli Red Kidney Beans and Italian Grated Cheese - delicious! I will definitely make it again.
I watched Question Time this evening which was from Glasgow - a very lively watch! My blood pressure has probably increased a notch haha.
Today’s Blip is of the divider of my planner dedicated to February 2024…I hope it’s prediction is correct!
I hope you have all had a terrific Thursday :) xx
