Bloomin' great

Today's blip was going to be a posing duck but I feel I've overdone it a bit of late with aquatic birds. For a change, I plumped for a flower. I am struggling a bit with the macro on my G12 and not sure where I am going wrong. This was the best of the four or five shots I took today. Must look at the manual again.

Feeling pooped after a busy weekend, but had some good news today. Dad was back at the hospital for his 3rd check-up after lung resection for cancer in November They are so pleased with him that they don''t want to see him for another 6 months. This flower is for you dad!
