Ocean Village

Taxi at 8am and despite a rail strike on our line, the limited service train to London had a spare seat and I let the train take the strain and am in Southampton in time for a lunchtime Peach Bellini in the waterfront! It’s so sunny there are people dining outside. Who needs the Riviera when you have Southampton:-)

There is a racing yacht moored outside our room with a mast taller than the 6 storey hotel.
