Sue and Pacey

This afternoon on Wrightsville Beach, our photo group interviewed and photographed individuals, tourists, workers, fishermen... whoever was around on this beautiful, albeit chilly day.

This is Sue from Alabama.  She is visiting Wilmington with her daughter (not present), her mom, Peggy (who is on the phone) and their dog, Pacey.  They are huge "Dawsons Creek" fans, the tv show that was filmed here 30 years ago.  Pacey, played by Joshua Jackson is one of the lead characters.  Sue, her daughter, Peggy, and the daughter have been visiting all of the Dawson sites while here.  Sue was reluctant to let me take her picture, but afterwards she showed me a picture of herself, 60 pounds lighter, before she moved to Alabama.

The best part of the day was seeing and hearing the great Emmitt Cohen as part of the 44th North Carolina Jazz Festival.  Emmitt plays all over the world, a genius that shouldn't be missed if he and his trio visit your neighborhood.
