The Hoad

A lovely sunny day so we drove up to Ulverston for a walk along the canal. 
The path from the back.of Mc Donald's leads to the canal which saved walking along a very busy main road. 
It was a bit muddy but we managed to negotiate the puddles. Once by the canal there is a dry straight road/ path.
The sky was blue and the sun felt warm. A lovely contrast to yesterday..
Blip shows the Hoad  ( ie the Sir John Barrow monument) Today would have been a good day to walk up there with no wind.  A walk for another day. 
A quick nip into Mountain warehouse for M to try on gilets    then in and out of Booths  cafe. (It was too busy )
Probably just as well, cake does have a lot of calories.
