By the Canal

A few days ago I put a not too good pic in the extras of some miniature daffodils. Today I went out on the patio this morning with the aim of getting a better photo for Flower Friday hosted by BikerBear. Here it is.

Whilst I was out on the patio I noticed the swans and ducks were having a conversation (see extras).. Probably complaining about the lack of female company, though the swan's mate is sitting on her nest near the lock gate.  

After lunch we walked down to GoodRoots for a coffee.
