Eek, Poor Visibility

More gales and showers, drizzle at times.  A drier late afternoon and evening.

Up early, headed to work in the airport.  A morning on the check-in desk, and then meeting and boarding flights.  A busy day of passengers, and most flights on time, which seemed to be a surprise to many with the gales.  Walkies with Sammy.  Think I might have a well deserved pint tonight. 

A busy week in the airport, especially the last three days.  After all flights cancelled on Wednesday, we must have flown about 1,200 passengers south in the past two days.  The ferry south has also been busy, with about 500 passengers each night.  When I was heading to work this morning, panic came over when the visibility was looking poor.  Thankfully it looked worse than it was, just drizzle showers in the distance.  The days have flown by, and feels good to get folk moving, I love it busy.  As hazy Levenwick, from Swinister, Sandwick.
