Seat in Simancas

Simancas is a lovely little village south of Valladolid, Spain. Very picturesque, with a castle and cathedral - and loads of bars and restaurants. Down by the river there is a beer garden where American rock and folk music are played. Teens, dogs, children and the middle and old-aged all mix happily - not a mobile phone in sight. Is it the sunshine that makes everyone so contented - or the beer?
