The Merrivale

We are up in Great Yarmouth with C's sister and mum. What a lovely place- quite old fashioned and very friendly- a real seaside town with lots of interesting buildings.
This is the Merrivale TeaRooms established in 1903 in what used to be the Winter Gardens. I love the old fashioned cakes especially as they look as if they have been thrown into the glass cabinet.
After our cuppa we went and played on the old slot machines with real old pennies.
Harry Ramsdens Fish n Chips rounded off a great day.
It's now raining.... Oh well .......
