Swimming off the day

This evening’s indoor swim was a quick one but I needed it to ‘swim off the day’.

Experienced a rude and unprofessional email while at a meeting with a fellow colleague at lunchtime. It was fortunate we were together when the email arrived or I might have responded to all and let rip. Took a breath and she advised me to delegate to the chair to respond. She was just as outraged as I was !

I am not impressed and rather suspect there’s a case of misogyny going on. The person concerned has been moaning ever since I became Vice-Chair of the group. Recent successes and new connections being met with criticism. Wonder why I bother as it’s a voluntary role.
