Force Lake

We lunched, we knitted, but mostly we watched birds at Force Lake today, and what a good time it was. Here, a Mallard is taking in some sun that was warming our backs, too, as we stood looking. There were so many ducks and they're so easy to watch as they feed and swim. The highlights were the Canvasback and the Common Goldeneye, but no pictures of them. I think of my tripod sitting at home, not to mention different cameras sitting there, too, but I guess I don't think of them enough to drag them along. Drag is the operative word. Memories are so much easier.
