Bashful

We took the dogs round Pitfour lake this morning.
It was lovely and bright but quite breezy.
This swan was really puffed up and preening itself.
I guess they have to look after their feathers to keep warm and to make sure they can fly well.
On the other hand, perhaps it’s so that they look good for their partners!
P.S. We didn’t excel at the quiz last night, but it was good fun
