Through the window

Is there a town or village in the country without a Turkish barber? This one, with people waiting, was in West Kirby and looked to be offering much more that a short back and sides. The white machine in the foreground was emitting some sort of vapour and I've no idea what the barber's hand was doing. They're very popular.
