New Life

New life for this coffee mug, which was once a present of blipfriend Ausländer.
Unfortunately I found a crack in it and was afraid of using it with hot liquids again. And then had the idea of planting a twig/root of an older orchid in it - the orchid that was once a birthday present to me from my late Tante Gerda for the last birthday she was with us.
The old orchid starts to bloom every year around my birthday and now the new one is doing the same for the first time (after two or three years with nothing happening). Isn't that nice?
