Skiing in Surrein

Not far from Disentis with its impressive monastery is Surrein, the venue for the last but one cross-country ski course meet.
The snow was still skiable, though not for much longer. In the morning our group had a nice ski down to Trun and back. For me it was not so nice as I had a bad fall. My own fault as I managed to trip over my own poles!
Lunch was a fine affair and in the afternoon in very warm temperatures we had our lesson. It was good for building confidence as well as improving my technique. 
The extra is taken on the Lucomagno pass road looking back towards Disentis. Such a beautiful day and I love the wilderness of the high pass road.
