Finally

I received this handmade, rushlight (the wick is a strip from a bullrush stem) candle at Christmas but have been putting off lighting it as I know it won't last long.

Had a lovely day off. A cooked breakfast, not-too-tedious bit of food shopping, walk and cafe trip in the afternoon, followed by some reading and then rugby watching (phew that was close!). All topped off by a delicious roast dinner and a glass of wine - even more of a treat as I've been eating carefully and teetotal all January. Now a hot bath and a relax.
