Family of three.

Isn't this just the most gorgeous house. It is only a small part of it but shows you how short it is and with the thatch roof and wavy walls it is just stunning. Even I had to duck to go through the back door and I am only 5' 4". It used to be the old post office but is now the most stunning home. I went away with Paul this weekend to Bedfordshire to visit his South African friends that he trained to be a dentist with, they were all at college together and then all ended up moving to the uk. This is their home.

They are such a lovely family and they made me feel so welcome and comfortable straight away. Their accents are a lot stronger than Pauls and their main language Afrikaans and it was odd hearing him speak it with them. Their English was perfect though and Paul promised to translate if needed as later a few more of his South African friends turned up and they were all chatting to them too. Again the English was perfect and the friends son and Paul even tried teaching some Afrikaans to me although mainly rude words lol

We had the most amazing braai in the evening and chatted and drank the evening away. When we went to the part of the house we were staying in the room was laid out like a cosy bed and breakfast room with plush pillows, towels and tiny shower gel bottles. Such kindness and thoughtfulness from this family in every way.
