Teba 25

Teba turned 25 today. Celebrated locally by just the three of us (and Caspar), but our sons+DIL had a (video) call too. And there were a number of greeting cards.
As you can see Teba is almost as tall as Hanulli. And no, it's not the balloon they try to blow to each other. But they exchange (birthday) kisses Covid-style.
For us her birthday anniversary is always very important. Teba was born way too early, weighing just 1kg. But she managed to grow, although with some irregularities. We had her tested when she was around 1 year old. The doctors thought she had a very little cerebrum and would not be able to live long. Actually, we should not spend time on therapy but just enjoy the time left, a year or so, with her.
Well, we did not give up on her. She had a lot of therapy, learned to walk, to eat, sign language, speak some words, and many other things. She has special needs, no doubt. But she is here with us. And very often brings joy to our lives.
