Labels
There is usually a palimpsest of sticker art on the lamp posts at the top end of Piccadilly in Bradford. If you pause to look at the individual stickers you can find incredibly detailed work.
USPS Priority Mail labels are a favoured medium for such work in the US, as blanks can be picked up free in any post office, and they occasionally pop up in the British streetscape too. However, I think this is a printed version based on an original, as its exact likeness may be found in Shoreditch, and doubtless other places. It’s the work of street artist Bento Ghoul.
I was walking up to Valley Parade where Bradford City were hosting AFC Wimbledon in a League Two fixture. After an initial bright spell from City, any attempts at quality seemed to get stuck in the mud. Other than a few long range efforts, neither side really threatened to score. 0-0 it finished.
