We were up in London today for mum’s birthday and to see a production of My Neighbour Totoro at the Barbican. Naturally I forgot to take any pictures other than this one of the cake counter at a lovely little coffee shop off Spitalfields.

The play itself was brilliant — amazing puppetry and a general sense of warmth about the whole show, helped by it being a matinee and full of children vocal in their wonder (although also vocal in the quieter sad moments too but we’ll look past that). A lovely day out!
