Ended up going to bed quite late, after getting home from the airport and having some dinner, so a sleepy morning.

Pose had some time before she needed to head home, so we walked to North Street for a coffee in Albatross. Matt came too, his first trip out for quite a while (and subsequently needed most of the afternoon to sleep off the excitement). It was a beautiful sunny day, but about -2c so about 20 degrees colder than we’d had yesterday.

It was Bill’s birthday so a pub trip in the evening. Against all the odds Matt made it, but quietly nursed a pint of Coke and had to leave after about an hour. I took my box of pastel de nata which went down very well with the assembled hungry boys.
