........peace in our time.......

The clock on the village church is chiming 10.00 p.m.......the sky to the North is still light........and I've reached the end of the first peaceful day I've had in a fortnight.

I didn't go for a beer with D and B last night.....9 o'clock arrived and I hit the wall....and then it fell on me........no energy at all....so I went off to bed....and slept right through.....well until 5.30....still haven't broken that annoying habit.

Got up and had coffee and cereal....and slowly got ready for work.

Arrived at work......marked a pile of books.....taught three lessons...marked some more books....drove home....not exhausted.

Had a coffee with the Boss....then we drove over to the S & H and had a coffee with them and a play with Charlie. On the way home we called into the supermarket to get the Boss some supplies. On Thursday she's going away for nearly two weeks.....one looking after her Dad while her step-mum is away...and then a week at the cottage in Glencoe with her three brothers. When she gets home she has two more days off and then goes into a spell of night shifts....so we're barely going to see each other for about three weeks!!!!!

We got home....had a Chinese and a beer.....and watched "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel..........and now I'm having a second beer and blipping properly.

Friday I'm meeting up with hebs after work...and she's promised me a cuddle...which is a big deal for her...unlike me she's not the tactile sort.

So a perfect start to week....and a perfect end to come....now if only it can stay calm for the rest of the week.

Thanks for all your support this last two weeks.....you know who you are.....I may not have commented much....but I checked in with you all every day....and it kept me sane....what a bunch you are!

Das vidanya moy padruga.
