Feeling better

This time last night we had to take Bertie to the emergency vet. To cut a long story short he seemed to have had a blockage in his urinary tract caused by cystitis. After hours of trying to ‘go’ on a litter tray every ten minutes or so with nothing to show for it, we headed out. Blockages can be life threatening for a male cat.
By the time we got there he had managed to go in the pet carrier - the bumps in the roads probably helped! In any case that was a relief for everyone concerned. He was a model patient, so chilled. He had to be as we were there for three hours! Two hours past our bedtime, but relieved the blockage has dissipated.
Bertie isn’t quite 100% yet but he’s doing well.
