Junk

Today our river attracted the magnet fishing people who trawl rivers for metal junk and then sell it to the scrap merchant. I’m trying to remember when I’d seen a similar “service” was it last year or the year before? Anyway they found quite a collection and this lot was all before midday.

My afternoon was spent in the company of friends at the cinema watching A Matter Of Life And Death, truly one of the greatest films ever made.
