At the Stockbridge farmers market. The vendor is a favorite regular, though he's about to be on holiday until March ..

Damp and very windy out in the morning; spent the time with a measuring tape validating drawings. Out in the afternoon to the market; got cheese and French fennel, then walked back by the Water of Leith; it was down a 30cm or so from the recent high; lots of peaty brown water. 

10C high, though it didn't feel that mild in the West wind.
