Day on the piste

As the weather forecast was for about 10degC at 2000m, we got an early start, and we’re on the slopes by 9am. Quite good conditions at first, then deteriorated as it got warm. A had a little fall on the soft mushy snow, then couldn’t get up, then a nice young man gave me his pole to grab!
At lunchtime Mr S realized he had a problem with his eye, some kind of infection, he was in agony. We finished skiing early, then he got some drops from the chemist.
We had a relaxing mid afternoon sat outside at the farmhouse in the sun, and cooked dinner together, Rösti and Züri Geschnetzeltes.
