Back in the picture

Haven’t seen the Rubics cube around for some time. But it’s back, in a way I never know before. Complete tournaments are organized to see who can solve the cube fastest. This ‘speedcube’ is much lighter than the original Rubics cube, and there are no stickers (remember pulling of the stickers to make the cube whole again?! It doesn’t work anymore…)

Today I recieved a parcel with a speedcube in it, from some teenagers we know from the chess tournament. They challenged me to solve this cube within three minutes, at the next tournament we all go to in May. Challenge accepted! It probably is going to cost me some milkshakes and fries, because I not likely will win the challenge, but I love the fact they sent this to me and challenge me.
