Parkhouse Hill
We rarely head South but today we made a special trip to the Bookshop at Brierlow Bar South of Buxton. It a destination worth the trip as the stock is impressive and often very low prices and of course it has a very popular cafe - too busy for us today.
After spending lots of money on books, maps and a jigsaw we headed off down some scary single track roads to see Chrome Hill (extra) and Parkhouse Hill (above) two impressive little hills in limestone country - The White Peak part of the Peak District National Park.
