Sparky

Had the electrician (sparky) in. Nothing urgent but a few things we’d had on our list for a while. All done in the afternoon. Now we await the bill….

- replace the outside lights that had packed in. He’d said he’d never even seen the brand for the ones we had from the previous owner and the lights were full of water!

- disconnected the old wired in smoke alarms that said to be replaced in 2012

- replace the dimmer switch in our bedroom to a standard one. The dimmer doesn’t work with modern lightbulbs anyway without some modifications.
