Moon over ice

I know, similar to yesterday's water and ice but today includes the moon.

Today's challenge was how to get beyond the water within the 2 lines of trees and out to the edge of the ice without getting my feet wet. Gumboots would have been perfect but I was in my bike shoes.

I selected a low gear and pedaled out through what could have been a disaster, until I reached an outer tree where a small island had formed.

Perfect to observe the moon over ice and a great start to my day :-)
