Library appointment

I haven't been to my computer tuition since before Christmas but this morning I met with Eamonn for an hour session whilst Donald met downstairs in the Common Room for coffee with some of the other tenants. Both events seemed to go well.
When I left the library it was well after 12 o'clock and I was not really wishing to dawdle but I did decide to pop into Waitrose. I was hungry and it's always a bad idea to go to a supermarket in that state but I hurriedly picked up a pack of Duchy spinach, 3 packs of Duchy beetroot and 3 delicious looking wholemeal, crusty rolls. My mouth was watering. The couple in front of me were just about done at the till and were about to pay when a fire alarm went off. I was hoping that I could quickly get served but an efficient type came along instructing everyone to leave the building. I looked longingly at my goods on the conveyor belt but had to say a sorry goodbye to them as I made way to the exit door. I was too hungry and tired to hang around so climbed the hill home.
