Work was being done to replace some of the panes in the glasshouse that were damaged by the recent gales at Inveresk Lodge Garden and I was delighted to see a small pink Pussy willow (Salix gracilistyla) which was recently planted but it was hard to get a good photo in the strong wind.  I took several photos of flowers and decided to make a collage of shrubs including the Winter honeysuckle (Lonicera fragrantissima) and Winter box (Sarcococca confusa) which are both are very fragrant.  The other two shrubs are types of vibernum (the pink V farreri and white V tinus)
